Main job function
• Provide clear legal advice on complex legal matters
• Act as counsel on legal issues in a timely and effective manner
• Contacting and liaising with internal and external clients
• Research and analyse relevant regulatory requirements and translate into business solutions
• Drafting of legal opinions, affidavits, pleadings and related court documents
• Building and maintaining business relationships with clients and other stake holders
Qualifications
• LLM Degree or studying towards
Criteria
• 3 years litigation experience, preferably Maritime law.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and written
• Demonstrate the ability to anticipate and plan
• Demonstrate customer focus
• Constructive teamwork
• Honesty, reliability, and punctuality
• Ability to take initiative
• Be able to work under pressure, and occasionally after hours.
• Ability to work independently and to use initiative
• Meticulous and ability to pay attention to detail
