Main job function
Perform feasibility studies, preliminary, basic design and detail design regarding civil works of Renewable plants (Solar, Wind, BESS, green hydrogen)
Design or review the design performed by external consultants for structural works and infrastructural works (roads, earth movement, pavements, drainage systems) according to technical codes
Carry out of due diligence on civil design of Renewable plants
Review calculation reports, shop drawings, fabrication drawings and shop submittals to support construction
Plan, execute the civil design activities throughout the entire life cycle of the project inside project teams
Perform site surveys for various renewable plants both for developing new project than to support construction on site
Participate to technical meetings and follow up the design activities performed by external suppliers
Prepare technical specifications, BoQ, drawings and other technical contractual documents
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering required. Post-graduation or MSc in Hydraulics or Structural or Transportation is a plus.
Minimum 2 years of professional experience in civil engineering.
ECSA registration as a professional is a plus.
Knowledge in Renewables is a plus

Salary
R950 – R1 million per annum
