Main job function
- Oversees the identification and execution of compliance and corporate governance processes, procedures, and policies to reduce risk.
- Advocates for the company’s ethical business practices, while ensuring compliance with standards across multiple brands, and applying innovative problem-solving strategies to these.
- Effectively manages insurance claims to protect the company’s interest.
- Facilitates the ability to comply across business units, enabling management to focus on service priorities.
- Fulfils all required Human Resource functions and assumes responsibility for own personal development.
Qualifications
- B.Com Law, Bachelor of Laws (LLB) or equivalent legal qualification.
- Completed articles
Criteria
- Qualified and admitted attorney.
- 5 years of experience post-articles in a corporate environment
- 5 years Compliance related experience in the management, implementation and maintenance of compliance frameworks.
- Insurance claims processing and disputes
- Contract drafting and management
