Main job function
• Conduct on-site inspections of electrical systems and equipment damaged by insured events
• Assess damage, take photos, and gather data for reporting purposes
• Provide detailed reports, estimates, and recommendations for repairs or replacements
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company protocols
• Specialize in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in buildings and structures.
• Responsible for ensuring the proper functioning of electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment to provide electricity for various purposes.
• Be able to issue CoC’s
• Install, upgrade, and maintain all on-site electrical components, in compliance with provided specifications.
• Ensure optimal functioning of all electrical systems and equipment.
• Adhere to safety standards such as OSHA.
• Comply with all pertinent building codes and regulations.
• Develop and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers, and other industry professionals
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments, new technologies, and changing regulations
Qualifications
– Grade 12 and Trade Tested Electrician
– 10 years of experience as an Electrician.
– Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations
– Excellent communication, reporting, and analytical skills
– Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments, and meet deadlines
– Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook
– Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (for on-site inspections).
Remuneration: R20 000 – R30 000
