Industrial Engineer – Reference LCIE

DEPARTMENT: ENGINEERING SITE: DURBAN – MOUNT EDGECOMBE ROLE:

 JOB DESCRIPTION:

An individual in the Industrial Engineering field to perform the following tasks:

• Customer Liaison (new projects and variation to existing products)
• Bill of materials generation and management.
• Ensure products meet SANS specifications.
• Facilitate product conformance testing.
• Design prototypes and samples according to customer requirements.
• Process design, implementation and system integration.
• 3D CAD drawings and drawings management.
• Creation of work Instruction and process guidelines.
• Stock code creation and management.
• Liaising with local and foreign suppliers.
• Process optimization and continuous improvement.
• Project Management.
• Plant management
• Process management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Industrial / Electrical Engineering – (BSc, B.Eng. Tech, N.Dip)
• 1-4 years Industry experience

COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

• MS Office (Intermediate)
• Time Management.
• Multi-tasking.
• Need to have a good and practical understanding of mechanical design

SALARY

R 30 000 CTC
