Short Term Insurance Broker – Reference SSSTIB

Minimum requirements:

• Minimum NQF 4 in short-term insurance or relevant financial qualification (minimum 120 credits) (Candidates who are still completing their qualification will also be considered, but need to still be within their DOFA date)

• RE 5 (not negotiable)
• Personal and commercial class of business, if registered as a representative after 2017.
• Minimum 3 years personal and commercial lines experience required.
• Knowledge of the FAIS, FICA and POPI acts.

Responsibilities:

• Sales of new policies (minimum target R3 500.00 commission per month, which equates to about 10 policies).
• Servicing, maintenance, and reviews of clients on our existing book (50 clients).
• Sourcing of own leads is not required. There is an inbound call centre who do cold calling and book new sales appointments.
• Managing of administrative assistant. The broker is provided with administrative support, who will assist with quotations and servicing requests
