Main job function
Must have knowledge on materials for gearbox manufacturing.
Must have knowledge on material heat treatment processes.
Able to work with costing on quotes.
Qualification and experience:
N3 or grade 12 will be an advantage.
Mechanical trade test is required. (Fitter and turner or Fitter and machinist)
Knowledge of industrial gearboxes.
Must be able to analyze component failures and compile detailed failure reports.
Must be able to use measuring equipment. (Very Important)
Able to work under pressure.
Willing to work overtime after hours and Saturdays.
Must be fluent in specifically MS PowerPoint and excel.
Must be dynamic, multi-tasking is very important.
Driver’s license essential
Experience conducting site tender meetings
